"UCSA is one of the most effective and well-run organisations I’ve encountered. Jane and her team are tireless. And they're smart. Their work and their partnership with Fidelity ADT and SAPS is the leading reason crime in our area remains so low."

About Us

UCSA is the official neighbourhood watch for Upper Claremont, Cape Town. We are bounded by Bowwood Road, Herschel Road, Herschel Walk and the M3, as illustrated in the map below.

We are a registered non-profit (Reg. no. 200688) and are accredited by the Western Cape Department of Police Oversight & Community Safety. UCSA is also an active member of the Claremont Community Police Forum.

Our committee is made up of local residents and chaired by Dr Helene Murning. Together, we work to ensure Upper Claremont remains one of the safest suburbs in Cape Town.

"I’ve supported UCSA since the beginning, knowing how vital a strong neighbourhood watch is. The team has built an incredible “machine” over the years, integrating cameras, ADT, Verifier, SAPS and more. The WhatsApp groups not only fight crime but also bring the community together with advice and support."
