Keeping Upper Claremont Safe, Together

About Us
UCSA is the official neighbourhood watch for Upper Claremont, Cape Town. We are bounded by Bowwood Road, Herschel Road, Herschel Walk and the M3, as illustrated in the map below.
We are a registered non-profit (Reg. no. 200688) and are accredited by the Western Cape Department of Police Oversight & Community Safety. UCSA is also an active member of the Claremont Community Police Forum.
Our committee is made up of local residents and chaired by Dr Helene Murning. Together, we work to ensure Upper Claremont remains one of the safest suburbs in Cape Town.

Monthly Contributions
Choose from three levels: R575, R875, or R1,025 per month. If you choose to pay annually in advance, you only pay for 11 months. All new joiners get their first 3 months membership free (to a maximum value of R1725) thanks to the generous sponsorship and support of Seef.
Capital Contributions
Members are encouraged, but not required, to make a once-off voluntary contribution towards new camera hardware. These usually range between R5,000 and R7,500, though some residents have contributed more to fast-track camera installation at nearby intersections.
Flexibility for affordability
Special arrangements can be made for pensioners and households facing legitimate financial hardship.
